The Vilbert Chair
Thing magazine is dedicated to featuring objects that are under exposed, or are so exposed you don't even think about them. Our first issue explores an example of the former. Verner Panton was famous for the S chair, the Cone chair, his colorful interiors and geometric textiles. But not many people have seen or heard of the Vilbert chair, sold at IKEA in the 90s. 24 pages of beautiful photography and backstory on this enigmatic chair.
